The Kona One board has evolved over the years and is available in three variants. There is the Thailand-made original board in fiberglass with a foam core. Then there are two Latvia-made hollow boards where one is made of fiberglass and the other of carbon. It is important to note that the carbon board is not approved according to the current class rules for Kona One. That is, if you intend to participate in a class-approved Kona One regatta, you should have a fiberglass board. The carbon board is both lighter and stiffer in its construction compared to the fiberglass boards, which results in the board navigating and leveling easier than any of the fiberglass boards.

The Kona One board comes with a 65 cm daggerboard, 46 cm fin, and 4 footstraps. Note that mast foot is not included. If you need a mast foot, it is possible to order separately.

Kona One is an international one-of-a-kind class and competitions are arranged in several places in the world. We recommend that you as a Kona One owner are a member of the Kona Club.
